A knack for adventure and innovation has helped Ursula Christiansen well to create a career that’s run the gamut from pioneering sales for woman at Zellerbach Paper Company at the time a totally owned subsidiary of Crown Zellerbach, to an Asscociate Broker at Alain Pinel Realtors from 1994 to 2007, to the Owner of Christiansen Realty.

Newly wed Ursula first arrived in the USA via Germany. In the following years an unavoidable break-up of that union and responsibility to solely raise a daughter in a new country put perseverance, her second nature into action.

She credits her early career with Zellerbach Paper Company “a wonderful mentor.” She quickly discovered that sales are about relationships. “I really love the people business.” Encouraged to think of Real Estate Sales as an opportunity to establish her own business, Ursula in 1983 decided to give Commercial Real Estate a try. The acquired experience in acquisitions, exchanges of business and residential properties, corporate relocation and locating investments for her clients, sharpened her awareness of market changes and trends.

Ursula’s clients say that she is adept at anticipating potential breakdowns in the marketing and escrow of a home. This allows her to ensure a pleasant and successful experience for her clients. “She teaches and educates us. We set strategies and work together from staging a home to upgrading it or providing a complete cost - effective renovation.”

A good agent has to be able to change direction at any point in time, go with the flow and let things happen. Leaving a 20-year plus single life behind, Ursula in October 1997 remarried....in her own words...making a commitment that will endure all.
